Our Benchmarks
Our Senior Pastor, Clarence C. Moore is a strong advocate for education. He believes that all students of New Era Church should meet a group of benchmarks before they leave for college. These benchmarks are the following:
Spiritual Growth
We challenge students to grow spiritually by attending Ignite weekly.
Service & Outreach
New Era believes that students should give to those who are less fortunate and in need. The IGNITE Team will provide many opportunities during the year for students to get involved. We recommend that students also get involved in assisting with New Era’s Feed My Sheep program. We visit homeless shelters where we minister and feed the hungry.
Leadership
We are preparing our students to be the leaders of the future. There are multiple training programs like Center for Leadership Development, Beautillion and Cotillion, Kids Across America-Higher Ground Program, and Top Teens of America. The opportunities that we provide and suggest would make any college resume/application stand out before others. Parents are encouraged to help your student get prepared for college and to lead the job market.
